Those WIR files are based on data from tests conducted by Epsilon Composite and/or independent laboratories, and provide what we believe to be the most accurate and reliable modeling for ECRC® conductors. They may be periodically updated if relevant new data is available. Note that conductor behavior may change from one cable manufacturer to another due to differences in raw materials and manufacturing processes. Therefore, we recommend to use the specific conductor manufacturer’s data for line designs.
