Thank you for your interest in using HVCRC® WIR files in your PLS-CADD calculations.
Those WIR files are based on data from tests conducted by Epsilon Composite Cable and/or independent laboratories, and provide what we believe to be the most accurate and reliable modeling for HVCRC® conductors. They may be periodically updated if relevant new data is available. Note that conductor behavior may change from one cable manufacturer to another due to differences in raw materials and manufacturing processes. Therefore, we recommend to use the specific conductor manufacturer’s data for line designs.
The Buyer is responsible for evaluating and determining whether the HVCRC® product is suitable and appropriate for its particular use and intended application. All technical information and data included in those files are intended for persons with knowledge and technical skills sufficient to assess and apply their own informed judgment. We expressly prohibit the use of HVCRC® WIR files for any conductor from any other manufacturer and conductor technology. All data contained in HVCRC® WIR files is confidential and belongs to Epsilon Composite Cable, reserved for use in association with HVCRC® conductors only. Do not disclose, distribute, or copy these files without the express written consent of Epsilon Composite Cable. Except where prohibited by law, Epsilon Composite Cable will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from the product, whether direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential, regardless of the legal theory asserted, including warranty, contract, negligence or strict liability.
